The German Coast Farmers’ Market will celebrate its 7th Anniversary on Saturday, June 12th.
The Celebration will feature live music by Blanch Newsome, live "bee to honey" demonstration & basket giveaway by Bees are My Business, local wood carving demonstration, face painting from 9 - noon, appearance by local festival queens, culinary entrepreneurs from brand new Market vendor, Edible Enterprises, Pony Tales pony rides from 9 - 11, Arts & Crafts vendors, Taste of the Season product sampling, St. Charles Parish Library display, & great door prizes! The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon at Ormond Plantation, 13786 River Road in Destrehan.
