The Allemands Elementary School second grade Cajun Dancers will perform at the East Bank location of the German Coast Farmers Market at 10:30 a.m. April 24.
The LSU Ag Center will be taking registrations and distributing written guidelines for the Preserve Contest to be held July 10.
Two local cookbooks are now on sale at the welcome booth - “From our Mama’s an ‘nem…”, by the Oldies But Goodies Dance and Social Club Inc. and “Jambalaya Crawfish Pie File Gumbo”, by Joan Zeringue Robbins.
