St. Charles Parish Council on Aging Inc. will hold a celebration in honor of Older Americans Month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 28 at the Hahnville Center, 626 Pine St.

A barbecue lunch will be served, and attendees may take advantage of free health screenings. There will also be a parade of prizes, fitness promo, dance demo, cookie contest, pool tournament, horseshoes, dancing, music and more. Dessert will include ice cream sandwiches.
