Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of the St. Charles Parish Library’s next book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 6 Our location is on River Road in Hahnville almost opposite the courthouse. It is called the Book Nook and is an extension of the Hahnville library.
Those of you who are familiar with our facilities will be surprised to see that we now have an additional room that was retained for use by the library but has been released to us now that things stored there have been moved to the new library on the East Bank. The new library is now the administrative center for the parish’s library system.
More space means more books and other materials. There are also other changes that greatly improve the setup thanks to board member Rogers Serpas, who has accepted the position of Book Nook manager.
Please mark your calendars with these dates. The book sales are the primary source of funds for the Friends of the St. Charles Parish Library.
The Friends of the St. Charles Parish Library, chartered in 1995, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our community’s library system.
