A Wetlands Reveillon is 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Destrehan Plantation Mule Barn. Tickets are $25 ($35 at the door) and can be purchased by calling the Satellite Center at (985) 785-2080 or the Destrehan Plantation gift shop at (985) 764-9315.
For the price of admission you receive a night of entertainment by local celebrity and entertainer Amanda Shaw and the Des Allemands Elementary Cajun Dancers; one entry for a flat screen TV raffle; and a fabulous Reveillon dinner spread prepared by the Satellite Center Culinary Arts team members. T

You will also be able to participate in a fantastic silent auction containing weekend getaway packages in New Orleans; jewelry from local designers, including Mignon Faget; artwork including a signed piece by famous Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue and sports memorabilia from the red hot New Orleans Hornets and Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints.
All proceeds from the event are benefiting the LaBranche Wetland Watchers with the construction of the first public nature trail in St. Charles Parish.
