Attention all senior citizens of St. Charles Parish!
Sheriff Greg Champagne invites you to attend TRIAD’s Senior Day on Oct. 22. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 1 p.m. at the Jerusalem Shriners Center at 1940 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.
Please join us in this free and fun event and receive health screenings, giveaways, door prizes and informational resources for a healthier and safe living, entertainment and lunch. Flu shots will be available through the St. Charles Community Health Center. There are no out of pocket expenses if you bring your Medicare Card. If you do not have Medicare, the flu shot will be available for $15.
Also, please bring with you any unused or expired medications so that TRIAD’s Drug Disposal Program can safely dispose of these for you, helping protect you and our environment.
This event is sponsored the St. Charles Parish TRIAD, a United Way agency, which promotes crime prevention, citizen awareness and victim assistance to senior citizens throughout the parish through cooperative education, mutual awareness and participation by senior citizens and law enforcement officers working together.
