What We Do?

River Parish Workforce Development offers three Business and Career Solutions Centers to serve St. Charles, St. James and St. John the Baptist Parish.

We offer a range of assistance to business/industry, job seekers, and youth including:

• Employer/Business Resources
• Job Assessments to find out your interests and strengths
• Dedicated Career Coaches to assist you through the program
• Skill training for those entering the workforce for the first time
• Development and Training for those seeking advancement OR for those seeking a new career
• Re-employment opportunities for those who are laid-off or seeking to return to the workforce
• Educational opportunities to complete the HiSET (GED), Vocational School and Higher Education
• Resume assistance & Interview Skills
• Mentorships
• You may even be eligible for reimbursement for the purchasing of required equipment and/or pre-job screening tests like physicals and drug-testing.

Business and Career Solution Centers

Our offices offer self-serve computers on a first-come, first-served basis for job center related needs such as job searches, completing applications, testing, etc.
