SCP-TV can be seen 24 hours, 7 days a week on Cox Cable Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 in St. Charles Parish. It is organized and produced by the Public Information Office and used by the St. Charles Parish Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness during emergency events to disseminate information. 

As a parish resource, SCP-TV and the calendar and/or news section of the parish website are made available to government departments and agencies, as well as local nonprofit groups that wish to publicize upcoming events or information in the public interest.
