Following major disaster events, St. Charles Parish may receive Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery funding for eligible projects. Please join us September 20, 2023 at 5:30 pm for a public meeting in the Parish Council Chambers, St. Charles Parish Courthouse, 15045 Highway 18, Hahnville.  The purpose of the meeting is to obtain public views on the post-disaster long-term economic recovery, restoration of infrastructure, and mitigation priorities and needs within St. Charles Parish and to discuss the submission of proposals for funding under the CDBG-DR Hometown Revitalization Program and the Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program.

All citizens, particularly persons of low and moderate income and residents of blighted areas and areas in the Parish impacted by Hurricane Ida and the May 2021 Severe Storms, are encouraged to submit their views and proposals at this meeting. Citizens may also submit views in the Survey Here.
