Patrons are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items to clear their fines. Fines can be for overdue items or for accrued overdue charges.
However, this cannot be applied to charges for LOST items.
The library is asking that patrons donate one item for up to $1 in fines.
Food will be collected Feb. 1-27 at all St. Charles Parish Library locations. Remember, only non-perishable food items can be accepted. Handmade food donations cannot be accepted.
