SoLA junior drama classes will be presenting The Wizard of Oz at 7 p.m. May 6 and 7 and 2 p.m. May 8 at the H.L. Bourgeois High School Auditorium, 1 Reservation Court in Gray. When Dorothy's house squashes the Wicked Witch of the East, she and her dog Toto set out on an adventure that has charmed millions. With her friends Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and Tin Woodsman, this remarkable journey takes them to the great Oz, who will only grant them their wishes if they rid the world of the Wicked Witch of the West. This simplified version of the ever-popular two act adaptation has much of the same action and charm that has made Oz! The cast is made up of drama junior classes ages 5 through 10.
