The Louisiana Emergency Medical Services Memorial Bike Ride will make its fourth annual trek through St. Charles Parish on Sept. 24. This event raises money for and honors members of the Louisiana EMS family who have died in the line of duty or have made significant contributions to the field of EMS.
The group is looking for riders, sponsors and donations so it can erect a memorial to those members of EMS who are no longer with us.
Riders would love to have a crowd welcome them at the driving range on Airline Highway in St. Rose (rest stop number one) and to also see them off to continue the ride ending at the Baton Rouge state fairgrounds.
