SoLA Center for the Arts will sponsor Houma’s annual Halloween Parade at 7 p.m. Oct. 28. The parade will start at Town Hall on Barrow Street then continue north on Barrow toward Main Street. The parade will take a left on Main, continue down Main and end at the courthouse square.
The parade will feature a variety of performers and community agencies. If you are interested in participating, please call or stop by the SoLA office. There is a $35 fee to participate in the parade, which includes a group of any size from two to 50.
Anyone is invited to participate and join SoLA in having a safe and child-friendly event. Participants are asked to throw pre-wrapped candy, no beads please. Participants are asked to be in the Town Hall parking lot at 6 p.m. for lineup.
The parade coincides with the Downtown Main Street last Live After Five music concert. The Live After Five will feature Errol and The Blues Boys.
