Paint the Town Purple
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fund-raising activity, bringing communities together in hope, celebration and memory. This unique event offers everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. The Relay For Life event will take place on March 28, 2009 at the West Bank Bridge Park from 6:00pm-6:00am.
In honor of this event, on Thursday, March 12, 2009, we will Paint the Town Purple for St. Charles Parish. All employees are asked to wear purple to work to raise awareness for the cause. The Relay for Life planning committee will visit various departments to sell large purple bows in honor of this event. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
