St. Charles Parish families are invited to attend the United Way of St. Charles Success by 6® Summer Kickoff at the St. Charles Community Health Center, 843 Milling Ave. in Luling, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. June 2.

United Way of St. Charles is partnering with the St. Charles Community Health Center and other community agencies to provide this fun, educational event that will feature health and vision screenings, immunizations, school physicals, cooking demonstrations and other information and resources for parents.

Children can enjoy an array of activities such as face painting, finger printing, Teddy Bear clinic, games and much more.

The Success by 6® Summer Kickoff is free for all families to attend. Attendees can win door prizes, including a laptop and an iPod. There will also be free food, books and other giveaways.

The event is targeted to provide information and resources for parents and children age birth to five years old in St. Charles Parish; however, all children and families are invited to attend.

Success By 6® is a community impact program developed by United Way of St. Charles that works to provide all children in St. Charles Parish with high quality, early learning opportunities to prepare them to succeed in school and beyond.
