The public is invited to attend the inauguration of Sheriff Greg Champagne at noon June 28 at the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 260 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.

The ceremony will be held in the multi-purpose room. The sheriff will be sworn in to a fifth term of office by Louisiana Supreme Court Justice John Weimer.

Immediately following, Sheriff Champagne will administer the oath of office to all deputy sheriff's in attendance. Light refreshments will be served following the brief ceremony.
