Rider Registration has begun for the sixth annual Tour de Jefferson cycling event on Nov. 4 at Bayou Segnette State Park.

The bike ride consists of three routes; all offering riders a scenic bike tour though two parks – Bayou Segnette State Park and Jean Lafitte National Park. Riders are then invited to the Fin du Tour after party for good food and live entertainment.

Check-in time begins at 7:30 a.m. at Bayou Segnette State Park in Westwego. The bike ride starts at 8:30 a.m. and riders must finish by 1:30 p.m. Registration costs are $35 per adult and $20 for 17 and under on the day of the race.

The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce has organized the Tour de Jefferson, with major support given by Peake BMW. The bike ride’s primary goal is to enhance the awareness of quality of life amenities and recreational venues in Jefferson Parish with a healthy, fun, family friendly event.
